Introduction

Hello, my name is Victor Grubbs. I was born in Sheffield, Alabama and raised in Detroit, Michigan. I an Air Force Retiree. While in the military I traveled to Hawaii, Florida, Georgia, England, Africa, Germany and Paris. I served 21 years on active duty. While serving I performed jobs such as Cryptographic Equipment maintenance, Medical Administration and Computer Networking. After 20 + years of doing what was necessary to support my family, I retired in 2006 and began studying music at Mercer. I have a wonderful wife, Tricee and three beautiful daughters, Amaris (20), Alyssa (16) and Victoria (7). My only son lived for 11 months, Victor II.
I am taking this class to meet my General Education requirements. I decided to take this class during the Summer because English is probably my weakest subject. Any English course causes anxiety for my. I hope to learn an appreciation for English Lit. and fulfill my requirements for my degree program.
